Exciting New Partnership for House League |
|
To further promote the sport of girl’s hockey, the Orangeville Tigers and Caledon Coyotes girls hockey associations are pleased to announce a new joint GIRLS HOUSE LEAGUE starting for the 2010 – 2011 season. Each association shares the vision of providing girls in their communities the opportunity to play hockey. By providing a shared hockey schedule, Orangeville and Caledon will continue to provide a fun and safe place to play hockey for all registered female players. Each association realizes their responsibility in teaching the game of hockey to youth. In addition, they recognize the importance of building self esteem and confidence in each player.
Executives and members of both associations have been meeting since mid February to work through the development of a partnership in their house leagues, which will encourage the growth of girl’s hockey in both Orangeville and Caledon. The executives wish to thank all those that have worked to make this happen. Games and Practices will be played in Caledon and Orangeville.
